Concorso d'Eleganza di Villa D'Este

L’appuntamento annuale del weekend del Concorso d’Eleganza di Villa d’Este che si è tenuto dal 15 al 17 maggio all’interno dei giardini del famoso Grand Hotel è uno dei momenti più importanti e imperdibili a livello internazionale per il mondo dell’heritage.

Si tiene nella prestigiosa location sin dal 1929 ed è l’occasione per vedere dal vivo, in una cornice che tutto il mondo ammira, auto più uniche che rare, per vedere come la meccanica incontra l’arte e le forme diventano sculture in movimento.

Come tutti i concorsi c’è sempre un vincitore e il premio più importante il Trofeo BMW Group – Best of Show”, assegnato dalla giuria è stato conquistato dalla BMW 328 Bugelfalte del 1937, auto che ha partecipato alla Mille miglia del 1940 arrivando al sesto posto e di proprietà di un collezionista italiano.

Il pubblico invitato che votava per la Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este, invece ha scelto la Mercedes-Benz SL 300 Roadster del 1963, uno degli ultimi esemplari prodotti, perfettamente conservata ed impreziosita da accessori per un weekend in montagna.
